The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) operates this Website. Unless otherwise noted, AAFP reserves full title and ownership of all content on this site. ("Content" refers to information, photographs, graphics and other materials). Content is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual and property rights, and all rights are reserved. AAFP disclaims any liability to any party for the accuracy, completeness or availability of any AAFP content or other material or for any damages arising out of the use or nonuse of any AAFP content. AAFP may also contract with vendors to provide additional the services via the Website. These vendor services are also protected by copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual and property rights.
Linking
The AAFP has no objection to links from other Websites to content on familyhealthadvocate.org as long as the following guidelines are followed:

- Type/format of publication in which the AAFP content will appear (e.g., Website, newsletter, book, periodical, CD-ROM)
- Estimated number of copies to be printed or produced
- Whether the copies will be sold or free. If free, what funding, if any, is affiliated with the program/project
Fees
A permission fee may be charged when material is to be used in a publication (e.g., newsletter, textbook, manual, journal/magazine) or a commercial venture. The fee depends on the amount of content being repurposed. Payment should be made in U.S. currency and must be received before permission is granted. (Credit cards currently are not accepted).
Processing Time
Responses to permission requests usually take 14 to 21 business days from the time a request is received. Response times may be longer during periods of high volume. Incomplete requests will be returned and will not be processed.
